Suckerpunch

(This was my reaction when I saw the trailer.)

I first saw the trailer for Suckerpunch a few months ago. I think it was through imdb.com but I could of randomly found it. The trailer blew my mind. I watched it 3 or 4 times and then downloaded it for my ipod so I could watch it a few more times during the night.

The movie storyline is something about some institutionalized women who try to break out but they imagine different worlds to escape the world they're in. They imagine dragons, samurais, nazis (possibly zombie nazis!?), guns, swords, bombers, mechas. I also saw there was a few dance numbers and some awesome slow motion fighting scenes.

Zack Synder basically just made a movie with all his favorite things in it. It should be every geek girl's or guy's dream world. I think it's going to be a great movie. It's going to be for a very small niche of people who are into those sorts of things and everyone else won't be able to follow it. Much like Scott Pilgrim with it's small videogame bits in it that not everyone would of got. I can't imagine my Mum watching Suckerpunch and enjoying it.

iPod Shuffle 2nd Gen Trick/Hack

Just got an iPod Shuffle, and I can't help but to think ">.< gotta use itunes...", but who doesn't? iTunes is bloatware now, it install lots of crap you don't even know, and Quicktime! Why? Don't ask me. All I DO know is, I have itunes, and I don't want to have to use it all the time, that's why, I got this nifty little app, where, all you have to do, is put your MP3 on the iPod, and it will take care of everything! No itunes, no NOTHING! 

Shuffle DB is the name, it weighs around 8Kb, which is pretty damn small.

Put that on your iPod, along with all of your songs, open it, DONE!

Darklife is on Facebook

Created a fan page on facebook for Darklife, the game I co-own/art direct for. Hope to fix it up soon and add details etc. The game is pretty much in beta right now....though it's sort of been stuck that way for almost 7 years haha. Myself and the other developers are alot more equipped now and are about done with college so I foresee major updates soon.
