Easy Minecraft Dungeon Mob Trap

Hey guys, if you come across a dungeon playing Minecraft, dont destroy the spawner, use it to your advantage. This tutorial will show you how you can make a very efficient Mob Experience and items trap, using a pickaxe, 2 buckets of water, and around 20 glass pieces.

The Final Product.

What is a Dungeon? A dungeon is a room where there is atleast one chest with one mob spawner in the middle. It looks like a blue cage with fire inside.

Zombie and Skeleton

Step 1 : Dig two 1 x 9 grooves along the length of the room ( one on each side )

Here is where you stand.

Step 2 : Place water ( using a bucket ) on first block in the groove. If you did it correctly, the water should flow through the groove and one block should be left. That is where you will stand and hit the mobs.
Step 3 : At the point where the water stops, right 1 block above it, put glass (on both sides).

Step 4 : Fill the glass in between the two glass blocks, and also 2 blocks above it, such that mobs cannot jumo out.

You're done. If you stand right behind where the water ceases ( 1 block ) , the mobs will be attracted to you and you can hit their feet.

Spider
In case of spiders, they can actually climb, so you need to cover the whole thing with glass till the top. Also, you will need 2x9 grooves, and spiders are 2 blocks in width.

That's it ! You should put a chest nearby to store the stacks of items!
