Beijing Apple Store shut down

Queues out of Shanghai Apple store.

(Fri, May 6th 2011) Beijing, China : It was the launch of the white iPhone 4 and the iPad 2. Apple products are super popular up there in China.  Long queues are typical. Everything was going normally.

A reseller, who buy the products and sells them at higher prices in Chinese areas where there are no Apple Stores, tried to cut in the line 3 times ! It's pretty typical here in India, That man would be literally be killed. Same in China. Three security guard and the Apple store manager tried to escort him away from the store. And of course, he got mad. Really mad. Two employees were foreigners.

Then, something bad happened between the Apple employee and the family of the 'cutter' man. And the Apple store's gates were closed.

Now, Imagine you being there, and some other man causes your chance to get the Shiny new little Apple product(s) to diminish. A mob of people wanted the Apple products so desperately, that they made their glass door another kind of entrance. They hit it till it smashed.

Two men and two women were injured during this incident, just because of some person who wasn't patient.

By Sunday, everything was perfect again, like nothing happened.

Apple has two stores in both Beijing and Shanghai.
