The US Food Stamp Map

Food Stamp Use by State44.2 million Americans are in receipt of food-stamps. That is 14.3 percent of the population or about 1 in every 7. The Walls Street Journal has created this Google Map using the latest data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.The map breaks down the data by state, showing how many people in each state receive food stamps. In Mississippi and Oregon at least one in five
