Mine craft is a sandbox construction game, inspired by ifamine, Dawes Fortress and dungeon keeper, created by Markus Persons, the founder of Moving AB. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three denominational environment The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplier servers in multiple game modes.
Mine craft is currently in beta, available to players for €14.95 (~$21/~£13). Beta single player and Beta multiplier, when
purchased, can be played in the user's web browser, or
using the down loadable client. Mine craft classic is available
to play for free. Mine craft development started around the
10Th of May 2009, pre-orders for the full game started being
accepted on the 13Thof June 2009
